The Belgian Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (BSGIE)

It was founded in 1973 and represents over 300 gastroenterologists, surgeons, and other digestive health specialists who remain committed to furthering the knowledgeof the diagnosis and treatment of GI disease through the appropriate use of endoscopic techniques. It is also known as the Société d'Endoscopie Digestive (SBED) and the Belgische Vereniging voor Endoscopie van het Spijsverteringsstelsel (BVES).
